Precision Machining by Milling and Grinding for all Materials including Glas and Ceramics

Röders, a pioneer in HSC milling, develops its machines for best performance in terms of maximum machine dynamics with optimum surface quality and accuracy.

Pioneer in HSC milling

Dr.-Ing. Oliver Gossel has studied production technology at the TUHH in Hamburg, where he also received his doctorate in the field of accuracy of industrial robots. In 1996, he started at Röders as a development engineer, was head of development for several years and in 2006 took over the head of sales and has also been an authorized officer of Röders GmbH since 1.1.2020.

Milling and grinding

The precision machining processes milling and grinding are available at the same machines for all material including metals, glass and ceramics. This gives outstanding flexibility and accuracy, in each case the optimum machining process can be chosen. Features for best performance are 32kHz drive regulation, direct drives (linear and torque motors) in all axes as well as sophisticated temperature control.
